I could have taken or left this book for two reasons:1. I was not able to get behind the female character. When she first meets the male lead, he mistakes her for a biker bunny and she feels she is going to be raped with how he man handles her. Then she goes forward the next moment to have sex with him? Come on - far fetch from reality here. Any woman who feels fear that she is threatened to be raped in that moment is not going to then accept to have sex with the guy with no said fear she had a minute prior2. Way too much sex scenes. The author could have cut out so much of these scenes to add meat to a story that just was sadly missed in this book. If she took two in depth sex scenes (snore) and added more to the terror the other MC gave to the main female's business then this would have a hire rating for me. The story was short (204 pages not the 242 pages advertised here on goodreads) I was left feeling robbed and really believed this should be a novella not a novel.And what was with the poor grammar dialog though out the book. It is "AND" not "AN'". UGH! Just NO!! NO!NOTE TO AUTHORS: 50% sex in your book does not a good romance book make. Add meat to your stories already. This was my first book by this author and I am absolutely hooked. The writing was flawlessly executed, the dialogue was hilarious and genuine. The flow of the story was perfect and draws you into their world. The writer introduced many HOT,interesting characters and seamlessly touched on some of their own “stories” to get you hooked & anticipating the release of their own books to hear more. Lord please grant this author the ability to write effin fast because I cant freakin wait to hear more about Diesel & Hawk and hopefully Jayde too!As for the main characters, Sophie and Zak have etched their way into my heart permanently. Sophie is a fierce, strong, confident, and funny as hell, tell ya what she thinks kinda woman. She was hilariously checking out all the hot guys in the book and wasn’t afraid to point out their hotness, but as a true woman, always stayed loyal to her man even when she wasn’t sure how far they’d go. Zak was a true badass MF’er. His caveman dialogue was genuine and hilarious, he was the perfect mixture of Intense & Forceful without being stalkerish & overbearing. Dominating Alpha with a hint of vulnerability (when it comes to his woman). Love,Love Love Zak! In the bedroom, he can be romantic & cuddly, or go straight dominate on dat ass! The perfect man!I am so ecstatic that I came across this book and I was surprise to only see 25 reviews so far. I have no doubt there will be a few hundred soon enough. Now, I’m gonna have to facebook stalk the author to keep up on the next books getting released! Please hurry, my heart cant take it!
